Week 7

This week does’t have much of a theme, so I’ll dive right in.

This had me laughing for quite a while. I’d like to pretend it’s real because it seems so honest. this person is simply trying to help someone out who lost their dog!

In the comments, a few more found pet posts were attached.

That cat does not look housebroken.

“Football is like chess – just without the dice” – Lukas Podolski, FC Arsenal http://imgur.com/Awx92PJ

Another gem I found this week was a picture of some of the top chess players in the world playing soccer. Well… Trying to play soccer.

This is a helpful review of a lock from amazon. Pretty good reason to give it a five star rating.

That about does it for this week. Keep on keepin’ on.

Week 6

In the spirit of the recent cold delay, I thought I would share this picture of children showing some ingenuity. I wish we were smart enough earlier in the week to do this at the high school.

This next photo is at a CVS drive through. There’s nothing worse than pulling up to a drive through and you can’t reach the person inside, then you feel the shame of people watching you back up and pull closer. It’s interesting they bring up the no smoking sign because they pulled all tobacco products from their stores because the sales conflicted with their healthcare mission.

Not exactly sure what year this ad is from, but it’s safe to said it’s pretty old. This was titled “The Truth in Advertising.” You have to look at the fine print to fully grasp the truth.

This next picture really shows the joys of aging. Hopefully this is a tattoo instead of just markers, that would be trill

This was titled “It wasn’t me.” I love how the guy stands up at the end with his hands up.

Week Five

I’m really far behind on work so this will be brief.

Reese Bobby from Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (won the Academy Award for Best Movie Ever Made) once said, “There’s nothing more frightening then driving with a live god**** cougar next to you,” but he may not have taken this into consideration. This is a black leopard’s reaction to its favorite zoo keeper coming to visit. Nothing like a 120 pounds of sharp edges and cat-like attitude running at you.

Not sure if this cat is trying to help or just wants to bite anything in its eyesight.

Here’s another cat gif just for good measure.

This next post was titled, “So… Iowa Has to Claim this Idiot.” I’ve seen so bad/cheap car mods before, but this one takes the cake. The top comment said, “It’s like he was giving his truck a crappy paint job himself and the tray fell on the hood and he was just like screw it, now I’m a racecar.”

Too bad The Report will be off-air soon :( (http://i.imgur.com/a0XnVFu.png).

Small sexist jabs like these are what make the Colbert Report classic. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a sexist–this is only funny because of the satirical nature of the show. But, as the top comment points out, Stephen is wrong because Sacajawea and Susan B. Anthony are on dollar coins.

This last post will make you think. Jerry’s the man.

That’s it for this week, y’all come back now, ya hear?

Week 4

This week, I ran into a lot of .gif’s so I’ll throw a few in this week. The great thing about them is that they can basically show you a clip of a video, the downside is they make my site really slow and sluggish. Hopefully this doesn’t crash the page.

Maybe not the most efficient mode of transportation (http://zippy.gfycat.com/ImpartialForkedHellbender.gif)

Penguins chasing a butterfly, not much else to this. The fact that all of them are hopping in unison so awkwardly and they flap their little wing/arm/appendage hybrid makes this .gif even funnier.

If these actually existed, the company would make a disgusting amount of money (http://i.imgur.com/F01pR5U.gif).

Yet another cute animal .gif for this week. Honestly, if this was actually created, whoever made it would make an infinite amount of money. They would have no clue how to spend all of the profit they make. Puppies are quite possibly the world’s cutest creatures and a plethora of puppies means a dearth of problems.

This next post is from the show Community, which features one of my favorite rappers, Donald Glover. I have no clue what the context of this scene is nor do I want to know, all I know is that the pillow suit is amazing.

The title of this next one was, “You can have this.” I don’t know what kind of situation this gif took place in or why a cat and racoon were this close and

intimate with each other but it makes for a great post. Someone then posted the gif in reverse and said, “Actually, never mind.”

Interesting tactic (http://imgur.com/sTeDpdg).

The last post was an interesting way to combat car-jackings. Moosejaw is an outdoor company, so it makes sense that these young, hip kids are making jokes. In all seriousness though it probably works pretty well.

That’s about it for this past week, hope you enjoyed.

Week Three

My reddit time has been surprisingly deprived as of recent because I’ve been busy actually doing productive things. Plus I started watching The Office on Netflix again, so I’m procrastinating my procrastination. Without further adieu, here’s the past week today.

Link to Article about stupidity

The first thing I came across was an article from a Hawaiian news website about a 90-year-old man getting arrested for feeding homeless people. Arnold Abbott along with two ministers were in violation of a new ordinance. This is incredibly sad to say the least.

Even just watching this I feel like I'm having fun (http://i.imgur.com/SfHzt3H.gif).

My second finding was quite the opposite of the first — fun and entertaining. I keep watching this .gif loop over and over again and it keeps my interest. I wonder if I have the athletic ability to do this if I could find this set up… Probably not but I’d love to give it a try.

This next picture is the kind of thing I could imagine Floyd Money Mayweather would buy just because it’s expensive and he can. A pool surrounding a shark tank. I have no clue who thought of this or why but it’s quite terrifying. The top comment reads:

“When I go to an aquarium, I know that if the tank breaks the sharks have no chance vs me on land.

There’s no way I’m getting into a pool of water right alongside a shark tank. No thank you.”

This post is titled Mission Impossible. I can just imagine the theme song playing in the background as the cat scales the wall.

This post is not funny at all by itself and it has a great message behind it — drive safely and don’t hit pedestrians. But the execution of the advertisement here is just terrible. The title of the post was, “Not with that attitude you can’t.” Does Street Smart organization honestly think this is what someone looks like after they get hit by a car?? Just an unhappy, pouty look on their face with tire-mark/tribal tattoos on their face? One of the comments read, “Yes you can, it’s called a hospital.”

The final post was titled, “You can just buy these signs on Amazon and stick them anywhere.” I might have to look into getting a few myself. The top comment read, “Can you imagine the look on the person’s face when they enter what they thought was a bathroom but they instead get ripped to shreds by a fierce wild animal? Classic.”

That just about wraps it up, these were the best posts from the past week, today.

Week 2

If happiness could be captured in one photo, I think this would be it (https://i.imgur.com/x1WatGE.jpg).

The first post isn’t one I saw recently, but one I remembered and searched for. This is the quintessential photo of happiness. Whoever took this should have a Pulitzer Prize coming their way. Look at how happy it is! If people appreciated small things like this dog does, the world would be a much better place.

The title of this photo on Reddit was "Sup?" (http://i.imgur.com/nuKbzSg.jpg)

My intention wasn’t to have two dog pictures this week, but this was so hard to pass up. Dogs can be quite photogenic sometimes. The close proximity and wide-angled lens really make for a great shot.

The person who posted this said he recently got his mother an Ipad for her birthday and chose to use Apple’s laser engraving service as well. I found this particularly funny because my own mother recently “discovered” emojis, so of course she’s using them left and right (thinking she’s what the kids these days call “hip”). I can definitely see myself doing some smart aleck gift to my parents like this in the future.

One of the top comments on this was "Wavy Seals" (http://i.imgur.com/PFqEtJe.gif).

The last post this week is a .gif from a Thailand military parade. This must’ve taken years of dedication and practice to get down right. Another one of the top comments read, “It’s a good sine of discipline.” Math jokes are the greatest…

Another week and another collection of my procrastination. Hope you enjoyed this past week’s post, today.

Week One

I’ll go ahead and just jump right in. Basically I’ll put my top/favorite reddit posts that I recently views and discuss them.

No caption neccessary (http://i.imgur.com/vomA9Be.gif)

No caption neccessary (http://i.imgur.com/vomA9Be.gif).

This GIF of a deer on ice really made me laugh. It’s like a real life Bambi. The fact that the men went out of their way and put themselves in a somewhat dangerous situation to help out the poor animal just puts viewers in a happy mood.

I’m not really sure if this is photoshopped or not (I like to think it’s not), but if this doesn’t sum up America, I don’t know what does.

The fourth post was just a really cool picture of the Chicago skyline. Chicago gets a bad reputation for high crime rates and high wind rates, but the city is breathtaking from this altitude and whoever took this photo is quite talented (they also must’ve had a really tall ladder).

These are the top posts I’ve seen this past week from my procrastinating adventures. This is Will Majchszak, signing off.
